Step 1: Choose a Photo

• Begin by selecting a photo where the subject stands up in the background. Open this photo in Adobe Photoshop.

Step 2: Create a Copy Layer

• Duplicate the background layer by pressing CTRL + J (Windows) or Command + J (Mac).

Step 3: Type "GRADUATE"

• Select the Type Tool (T) and type "GRADUATE" on the duplicated layer.

​

Step 4: Download VOGUE Font

• Download the VOGUE font from Dafont.com and install it on your computer.

Step 5: Transform the Layer

• With the "GRADUATE" text layer selected, press CTRL + T (Windows) or Command + T (Mac) to transform the layer. Hold down the Shift key while scaling to maintain proportions.

Step 6: Erase Background

• Select the Eraser Tool (E) and carefully erase parts of the text covering the subject in the background.

Step 7: Add Additional Text
Use the Type Tool to add more text:

• "UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA" under "GRADUATE" using Gloucester MT Extra Condensed at Size 16pt.

• "Zero Tolerance for" on the left side.

• "FREE RIDER" under "Zero Tolerance" using TW Cen MT Condensed Extra Bold at Size 31pt and color #f3c17a.

• "Assignment Triumph" under "FREE RIDER."

• "Hidayah Zainal" at the left bottom using the Mistral font at Size 48pt.

• "Diploma Coder's Shift English Pro Degree Pursuit" using Papyrus at Size 15pt.

• "2023" at the right middle using Bauhaus at Size 50pt and color #a31d29.

• "MEMORIES" under "2023" using Gill Sans Ultra Bold Condensed at Size 24pt.

Step 8: Add a Blue Rectangle

• Use the Rectangle Tool to create a blue rectangle (#121034) and lower its opacity to 58%.

Step 9: Add Barcode and Date

• Place an embedded barcode photo at the right bottom corner.

• Add "1st January 2024" above the barcode.

​

Step 10: Add UiTM Logo

• Place an embedded UiTM circle logo on top of "2023 MEMORIES."

​

Final Touches:

• Make adjustments as needed, fine-tune the positioning, and ensure that the elements are visually appealing.

• Save your work to preserve the poster.
